Warning on Gamut
Note that not all screen colors can be printed accurately. Bright, saturated colors (like lime green #00FF00) are physically impossible to create with standard CMYK inks. This tool provides a mathematical conversion to the nearest printable approximation, but always do a "proof" print for critical work.
How it works
The tool first converts the Hex code to RGB values (0-255), and then calculates the requisite Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black separation values.
