About Remove Letters
Isolate Numeric Data
The Remove Letters tool filters text in the opposite way of its counterpart. It strips out all characters from A-Z (both uppercase and lowercase), leaving behind only numbers, symbols, and whitespace. This is incredibly useful for extracting phone numbers, prices, or coordinates from a large block of mixed text.
Example Use Case
Imagine you have a messy log file: "Error at line 403: Timeout bad gateway". Running this tool would yield " 403: ". You can then easily parse the error code.
