About Schengen 90/180 Calculator
For non-EU citizens traveling to Europe, the "90 days in any 180-day period" rule is strictly enforced. Overstaying can lead to fines, deportation, and future entry bans.
Understanding the Rule
The 180-day window is "rolling". This means for every single day you are in the Schengen area, you look back at the previous 179 days. If the total count of days spent in the zone (including entry and exit days) is 90 or more, you must leave.
Example
If you stayed for 90 days consecutively, you must leave for 90 days. If you stayed for 30 days, left for 30, and returned, the calculation gets complex. This tool simplifies it.
